The Team

Natalie Payne I started my hairdressing career in Toni & Guy as a Saturday girl in 2007 becoming an apprentice there after school. I completed many intensive hair courses in London enjoying being trained by some inspiring creative people. After 3 years of training I developed into a stylist and colour technician at the company and progressed with constant training from Wella and the creative team in the Toni & Guy Academy. I stayed with the company for five years. I then met Tony who owned ICON at the Liberty Stadium and felt this was the move that I needed to progress in my career. I started working in ICON in 2012 with a fantastic team. I went on many courses with L’Oreal to keep on top of current trends and styles. As well as hair I have progressed also to do beauty courses and currently doing a variety of treatments. Our team at ICON was expanding and growing. Tony felt we needed a bigger salon to progress and offer many more treatments and services so we moved into the town centre and opened Roco Salon And Spa and combined with the fantastic team from Pure Salon And Spa. We all gelled together perfectly and I feel it was the best move we have done, as we can now offer so much more for our clients. I feel so lucky to be part of a brilliant team and really look forward to the future.
Jen Ayres I started my beauty course in 2008 where I qualified in my level 2 and 3. After this I decided to do an H.N.D in advanced therapies and spa management, which opened many exciting new doors for me. I ran my own business and have gained a vast clientele base specialising in many luxurious beauty and holistic treatments.I am always looking to add new skills and experiences in my career and do a wide range of beauty treatments and training since being here at ROCO.Since joining the ROCO team my clientele has expanded and I enjoy working with a fantastic group of people who help inspire and motivate you. I couldn’t think of a better place to work.

Abigail Taylor I started my Hairdressing apprenticeship in 2004. After a short time I chose to specialise in Colour and within the first year or working on the floor building clientele I attended many colour courses and seminars at the Schwarzkopf academy in London, this only increased my passion for what I was doing.I decided to broaden my horizons and undertook some beauty diplomas then studied nail technology at the Carlton institute. I quickly discovered the benefits of having skills in both hairdressing and beauty and undertook as many courses as I could, training as a hair extension technician using many methods with both Studio 58 in Gloucester and Balmain UK and becoming a beauty therapist working with Dr. Hauschka, Eve Taylor and Recently Caudalie products and treatments. I am looking forward to start offering a new service of Easilocks within the salon and can’t wait to discover the benefits of working with this product and company. I love to learn and enjoy being able to pass my knowledge on to clients to benefit them. I’m so proud to part the ROCO team, I have never worked with as many talented and unique individuals who share the same passion for the industry as I do. I couldn’t think of better people to be working with!
